About Us
We are driven by challenges and always expand our solution making process by simply complementing each other. Yin-Yang can be thought of as complementary forces interacting to form a dynamic system in which the whole is greater than the parts. With Lidia’s analogical analysis and artistry, her friendly yet persistent nature, and Michal’s discovery of constraints, resolutions, and his honest approach with clients, the dynamic duo created Pionarch Design and Construction. Since the beginning they have served their clients by providing exceptional customer service, meaningful high quality, well designed and well executed projects. They both believe that having one team for design and construction simplifies the process and controls the outcome.
Pionarch Name
Lidia had created the Pionarch name before 2007. The name was adopted by her husband whom she married in 2007. Pionarch existed as a construction company until 2009 when she joined back in. Pionarch registered as an LLC in 2014 and since then it has grown in reputation and experience. Pionarch, LLC is now able to take both residential and commercial projects and is expanding in the commercial market sector year by year.

Meet Our Team
Lidia Szydlowska
Co-Owner/Founder – Architecture and Interiors
Lidia has over 23 years of experience in residential and commercial architecture and interior design. She has an artistic vision, a desire for innovation, and expertise in creating beautiful, functional buildings reflecting the client’s life or work style. Through the years, she has focused on building relationships and high-quality standards and procedures to build Pionarch’s reputation and expertise.
Lidia was born and raised in Poland and came to the United States in 1994, where three years later began working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design. Since she started working as an architect in Beverly, MA, which is where she developed her passion for architecture. In 2003, she entered the Master of Architecture program at Boston Architectural College and finished her journey with honors in 2009. During her studies, she gained experience in various project types working for architectural firms in Boston and the North Shore. After she received her Master’s Degree in Architecture, she pursued her dream – the business of design. Lidia’s passion and energy are passed on to her clients, employees, friends, and family members. She enjoys drawing, playing the accordion, and dancing at her leisure. Lidia has a positive attitude toward people, complex projects, and challenges. She approaches each project with enthusiasm and continuous effort.
Michal Szydlowski
Owner/Founder – Licensed General Contractor
Michal Szydlowski came to the United States from Poland in 2005. Michal has grown the love for building things since his father would often take him to construction sites growing up. Michal entered Law School at the University of Bialystok, Poland, but his heart remained in construction. After three years of studying law, Michal came to the United States and opened up his own construction company.
Michal started building his business by tiling bathrooms, building decks and doing small kitchen renovations. He now specializes in remodeling and constructing homes. His business has grown rapidly because of his outstanding reputation and repeat clients. Studying law taught him to approach his work using logic and practical reasoning. To this day he approaches his goals methodically. His ideas are always brought to life with practicality in mind.
Michal’s strength is to focus on the details. He does not see an alternative to lasting buildings. He believes that well made products and precise craftsmanship is the only way to have a successful project.
Paul San Gemino
Registered Architect in MA, CA
Paul has about 20 years of architectural experience in multifamily residential projects. Including high rise condominium towers, health care/lab/research facilities, hospitality and non-clinical medical tenant improvements. Throughout his career he has worked with various experienced architects, developers, and general contractors. His focus is emphasizing design development, construction documents, construction administration, building information technology (BIM) management, and standardization. His evolving skill set encompasses the diverse requirements mandatory in contemporary architecture: project management, project architecture, and building technology. Paul has worked for 4 large firms in the United States and had decided to join our boutique firm to primarily focus on leading young architects and expanding the company’s desire to accept more commercial projects.
Adriana Fernandez
Interior Designer, Architectural Designer
Adriana is passionate, creative and quick to advance. She is personable, organized and highly skilled at Revit, renderings and project management. She is employed at PionArch for three years and enjoys the diverse work and team environment Pionarch offers. Adriana is reliable, punctual, self-motivated and accommodative. Adriana attended the most recognized design events in Europe, the Salone del Mobile Milano where she learned about top trends in design. Her forte is kitchen design skills she learned from her parents. Adriana earned her Master’s Degree in Interior Architecture at the Boston Architectural College in Boston and Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture at the Universidad Rafael Urdaneta in Maracaibo, Venezuela. Adriana is a leader and she is skilled in project management. Her ultimate goal is to become an accomplished interior designer.
Baileigh Henderson
Digital Marketing Coordinator
Baileigh completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Communications from Bryant University in 2020. She has a strong passion for the artistic side of marketing, including designing digital content. Baileigh is passionate about using marketing strategies to assist small businesses in establishing their brand presence within their communities. She takes pleasure in working at Pionarch because of the consistent flow of creative energy within the office. The team’s collaboration knows no bounds since they work together to achieve a common goal. Baileigh’s objective is to connect with the people of the North Shore and Greater Boston communities to demonstrate the outstanding work Pionarch can offer.
