Consultation Duration

Each consultation, whether in person or online, lasts up to one hour.

Minimize Distractions

To make the most of our time together, please ensure there are no interruptions during the consultation. If you’re working, we recommend avoiding other meetings or calls during this time.

If you have children or pets, please arrange for a caregiver to be present to help keep the environment focused.

Clear the Area

Please ensure the area we’ll be working on is free of any obstacles to allow for easy access.

Involve Key Decision-Makers

If your spouse or partner will be involved in making decisions about the project or design, please have them present during the consultation.

If you are located more than 10 miles from our office, we may need to arrange for a long-distance consultation.

Design Consultation

What to Expect During a Design Consultation

During the consultation, we will walk through your space and share our findings about your property. (For addition projects, property research may be completed during this time.)

We’ll also discuss our process, your budget, and outline the next steps.

What to Expect After the Design Consultation

Within one week of our visit, you will receive a project design fee proposal.

You can also expect follow-up emails or calls from us to continue the conversation.

What Is Not Included in the Design Consultation

Please note that we do not provide a construction cost proposal during the design consultation, as this requires detailed drawings.

Construction Consultation

Who Needs This?

A construction consultation is ideal for clients who already have a set of drawings and would like a contractor’s input.

Consultation Purpose:

• Review your space and drawings with a contractor.
• Receive a “ballpark” estimate to help determine your project budget.

What is Not Included in a Construction Consultation:

Written Construction Cost Proposal
We do not provide a detailed construction cost proposal during this consultation. However, we can offer pre-construction services to ensure your design stays within budget. Please contact us for more information.

Design/Build Consultation

Some people like the idea of having one party to produce drawings and construction services.

If you are looking for combined services the design/build consultation is the right kind for you. You will receive the assistance described in both design and construction consultation above.

Feasibility Study:

If your project means expansion of the existing footprint, or you need a new building design it is necessary to order a feasibility study before we arrive at your site. We will provide you with a research about your property described in the link below:

If you are not ready to decide, we can explain during our initial meeting.

Consultations

All consultation costs are part of your contract and not in addition to your overall project cost.

Please select the appropriate consultation type from the drop-down menu on the right and submit your payment via PayPal’s secure online ordering. We will then follow up with you to schedule the consultation through our calendar link.

Refunds

Consultations cancellations are refundable when canceled 24 hours in advance.

Feasibility study services cannot be fully refunded as the process has started and time was spent. Please call or email to ask for amount of refund and allow 24 hour response.
