Project Description
In this kitchen renovation project in Charlestown, Ma the client wanted to have her dream kitchen designed after many years of not having a functional space. We created a new layout for her apartment including a new kitchen and two new bathrooms. In this description we speak about the kitchen as we helped the client choose the finishes, while exploring a few configurations.
This kitchen design uses an open concept and the main goal was to get as much view of the ocean as possible from the kitchen through the living room windows.
Kitchen Remodel Project Plan
This project design as presented offers a unique modern kitchen look of the kitchen.The cabinets offer tall storage as well as base cabinet storage. We introduced niches with glass inserts in lieu of the upper cabinets to open up to views without obstructions. The use of the white cabinets keeps the space light and airy.

Challenges
The biggest challenge was to accommodate the client’s changing her mind on the layout of the kitchen. After we proposed the options she had visited kitchen showrooms and explored more options. As the solution we proposed for the client to make the changes with her by placing her in our conference room with big screen TV and working based on hourly basis. It was the most efficient way to communicate with her and we were able to complete the project design successfully.
Client’s reaction
The client loved working with us. She was very enthusiastic about being able to see the process.
